COMMUNITY & UNIVERSITY SERVICE

Mu Sigma Upsilon recognizes that we are all extensions of the communities in which we were raised. Our communities include our family, our neighborhoods, our schools, etc. There is a need to give back to these communities to ensure that future generations are able to progress and succeed as much if not more than we have.

MSU provides services through formal or informal partnerships with local nonprofit and community-based organizations, as designed to improve the quality of life for community residents or to solve particular problems related to community needs such as health care, child care, literacy training, education (including tutuorial services), welfare, social services, transportation, housing and neighborhood improvement, public safety, crime prevention and control, recreation, rural development, and community improvement, students with disabilities, etc.

Through programs, workshops, and philanthropy efforts Mu Sigma Upsilon hopes to participate in the progress of our communities and universities.
